The short answer is you should be able to get the option set this way (where j is the jQuery parsed JSON): 
&lt;code&gt;j.d.results[0].Erm_FeeStatus.Value&lt;/code&gt;

and the money value this way (where j is the jQuery parsed JSON):
&lt;code&gt;j.d.results[0].erm_ChargeUK.Value&lt;/code&gt;

Here&#039;s a full example of the JSON from your comment in an HTML page although I did remove the URLs and replaced them with some generic text. If you place the contenet below in an HTML page and run the page in your browser, it should populate two boxes - one with an option set value and one with the money value. Hopefully this helps you out. If I missed something, let me know and I&#039;ll take another look.

I have tried to adapt it to replace some CRM4 code I inherited but while the routine works for my text (coursename) and integer values (courselength) I get an error when I try to pick up a money value or an Option Set value.
